DVD (Digital Versatile Disk)
DVD is now very popular as an alternative to Video. Better picture and sound quality, coupled
with better durability.
Also when you copy from one digital source to another, there is no loss of quality, as every
single one is an original.
We copy the finished version of your event onto high quality DVD disks. All of which are
encoded with Dolby Digital stereo sound.
DVD Formats
Transferring film to DVD is very new. Thus, some DVD players will not play recorded DVD's.
In fact, there are even still some consumer DVD's being produced by Hollywood which will not play on some older players.
We use the DVD-R format for DVD. This is the format endorsed by most of the major
electronic companies. The "R" means that a disk can be recorded onto once. This format is compatible with about 90% of DVD players on the market at the moment.
Since not all DVD players support this format, you should check compatibility of your DVD
player with the format we use before ordering a DVD copy of your film.
Please check for your DVD player in the list below. If you DVD player is listed as compatible
with DVD-R, then you may want to consider getting a copy of your film on DVD. |
